The Challenge
The many lockdowns during the pandemic and the need to keep in touch with family members and friends increased the use of digital devices and mobile devices. This created opportunities for scammers disguised as trustworthy websites. Older people are the main demographic targeted by this, as they often have lower levels of technological literacy and are too embarrassed to ask for help.
The Solution
- An app modified for older people in the Israeli market in terms of content, ease of use and design language.
- The app alerts users when they click on malicious links, but also grants them freedom of choice and serves as a safety net.
- We provide a direct channel in conjunction with the Israel Internet Association that allows users to report suspicious activity, ask for help and get advice about various issues.
